We’re Thais and José Herrera, partners in life, in flavor, and in Baciati.

Our story began in 2008 inside La Torre di Pisa, our Italian restaurant in El Viñedo, Venezuela. We introduced a small selection of handmade gelato to accompany our desserts. Before long, the gelato began stealing the spotlight.

What started as a simple addition to the menu grew into Baciati and a belief that gelato should be more than dessert. Every scoop should create a moment of joy, bring people together, and be made with genuine care.

Now, we are proud to continue our story in Magnolia, Texas. Inspired by Italian tradition and shaped by our Venezuelan roots, we create artisanal gelato using carefully selected ingredients, time-honored techniques, and flavors that invite a little curiosity.
